Whoa, check out this bad ass little 1979 Sachs Prima G3 for sale in Takoma Park, Maryland. It’s got a new motor and has been completely refurbished, said the seller. If I had an extra $1,200 and was in the market for a small knock around scoot, I’d jump on this one before it’s gone…. Read more »

Check out this bad ass 1979 Yamaha XS650. It looks totally done. Well, I’d want to open that triangle.
I always think that people selling a project bike are crazy. It’s hard to sell a bike that the buyer can’t ride home. So half-done bikes are not ever worth what the seller thinks. Here’s a nice looking 1979 Yamaha 750 for sale in Shelton, Washington. It’s got some nice mods and looks ready to roll. The seller is only asking $2,100. That seems totally worth it.
If you want a big cafe racer and don’t want to spend a bunch of time wrenching, this 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000 might be for you. The bike is located in or near San Diego and the seller is asking $5,000.
It’s not my thing, but here’s a custom 1979 Yamaha XS650 on auction at eBay located in Snohomish, Washington. It’s a true hard tail. It has a custom hard seat and no suspension. It looks like a partially done bike. I would need to put shocks back on it and dump at least another $1,000… Read more »
