Here’s a 1977 Suzuki GS550 for sale in Virginia. It’s got some upgraded parts, and it’s sort of cafed, but it’s half-assed at this point. The seller is asking $2,350 for this bike. If it runs really nice and is mechanically mint, I’d do $2,000 for this bike. The backend is jacked up looking. The… Read more »

I’m a huge fan of CX500’s – it’s like a poor man’s Moto Guzzi. Here’s a chopped up 1980 CX500. I’m not a huge fan of how this bike came out, it looks off-balance from a design perspective, but it’s got a lot of nice parts, so anyone looking for a bobber, this could be… Read more »
There’s a 1979 Yamaha XS750 for sale in Woodbine, Maryland. It looks pretty cool, but I’m not seeing $5,000 here.
Check out this bad ass 1979 Yamaha XS650. It looks totally done. Well, I’d want to open that triangle.
Blitz Motorcycles, of Paris, has an interesting Guzzi build. It has a Suzuki tank for some reason, but it looks cool. This builder has a ragged style which I dig.
Bennie’s Cafe Racers does it again. Check out this Triumph build. In building this bike, we wanted to evolve and stay away from the traditional look. We wanted something different and have that urban industrial feel. This bike started as a 2008 triumph thruxton with only 6,000 miles. Just like any of our bikes, we… Read more »
I don’t understand what an automatic means in terms of a motorcycle, but here’s a 1978 Honda CB400 with an automatic transmission for sale in Barre, Vermont. I have this exact bike, except I have to shift mine manually. I paid $650 for mine and I actually bought it in Barre, Vermont. I think I… Read more »
My first bike was an SL. This 1971 Honda SL175 for sale on Craigslist looks right. The price is crazy. I think I paid $250 for my SL, this one is on the market for $2,200. But these bikes are trendy right now. I wish I still my old one.
Here is a pretty nice looking 1963 Honda Trail 55 for sale in California. The seller is asking $399, which doesn’t sound crazy.
I always think that people selling a project bike are crazy. It’s hard to sell a bike that the buyer can’t ride home. So half-done bikes are not ever worth what the seller thinks. Here’s a 1979 Honda CX500 project bike for sale in Fairfax, Virginia. The seller is asking $1,500. In terms of parts,… Read more »
